Peter Velits, a former professional cyclist and U-23 World Champion, boasts a remarkable career that includes a podium finish at the Vuelta a España, top 10 stage results in the Tour de France, multiple-time Slovak national champion, and co-founder of the leading premium cycling apparel brand Isadore. Throughout his career, he had the opportunity to ride many high-end racing bikes. However, after his career, it's time to try something new and truly special.

A color that absorbs nearly 100% of light. The deepest black, complemented by matte holographic logos inspired by Isadore’s design. A color that almost makes our bike disappear – no reflections, no third dimension. For our painter, it was a huge challenge during the painting process, but the result is worth it. Under this color, the R2 Reason emerges as a perfect silhouette.

After years of seeing the bike only as a work tool, Peter had the chance to try our R2: Reason. We’re thrilled that the characteristics of our steel frames met Peter’s expectations, resulting in this exceptional piece. The R2 Reason is our uncompromising modern road bike. It is a powerful and fast machine that effectively translates monotonous muscle play into motion. The frame itself is made from high strength Columbus Spirit HSS steel, which gives the bike the essential characteristics – perfect rigidity, long life, and unique comfort. It also presents the possibility to use tires up to 700x28c. Technical details determine the nature of our products, their design is based on function. The tapered head tube and T47 bottom bracket ensure ideal energy transfer. To facilitate the use of disc brakes and thru axles, we have developed our own stainless steel flat-mount dropouts. Our internal cable routing is compatible with both mechanical and electronic shifting. Read more about Reason model.
