The Reason is our uncompromising modern road bike. It is a powerful and fast machine that effectively translates monotonous muscle play into motion. The frame itself is made from high strength Columbus Spirit HSS steel, which gives the bike the essential characteristics – perfect rigidity, long life, and unique comfort.

The Reason model comes in three standard colors. Want a lighter bike with an exceptional shimmer effect? Then the matte Mint color is for you. A bolder option is our matte Mustard color, and if you desire a darker finish, we also offer the glossy Petrol color.

HOW TO ORDER
The first step to secure a spot in production is to place a deposit. Our team will promptly get in touch with you for a session to discuss all preferences for building your new bike. Following that, the team will assist you in choosing the right frame size, frame color, components and inform you about delivery options. See below for an overview of the order steps. If you have further questions, please contact us via info@repete.cc.
We will first need to know which model you are interested in. We offer the R3: Reason and R2: Reason road bike, or the G2: Verne gravel bike model. For more details on the models, please visit our Bikes page.
Our team will assist you in choosing the right frame size. You can either fill out a bicycle sizing form and we will select a suitable frame size or you can visit a bike-fitting studio for a detailed report.
Have you chosen one of our standard frame colors or would you like to choose your own color through our Decode Your Individuality service? The graphic concept of the frame remains constant, but the color choice (of the frame and logos) is up to you. Timeless and unique colors inspired by legendary cars or motorcycles are among our favorites, and an extensive RAL color palette is also available. We believe that a bike is a personal thing and would be happy to discuss custom color options with you.
If you're interested in building a complete bike, check out our recommended configurations above or ask us! We’ll be happy to discuss your options and recommend a suitable configuration for a custom build. We will then prepare a detailed quote with a delivery estimate.
Once everything is arranged, we will issue you a proforma invoice for 50% of the total price and commit to delivering your frame set within 10 weeks (in case of building a complete bike, we will specify the delivery time in the quote).
It's getting closer. At this stage the frame is being made in our Prague workshop.
Upon delivery we will ask you to pay the remainder. The finished bike can be picked up at our Prague base or shipped to your destination (worldwide).

Ordering a frameset includes a painted frame in your chosen color, complete with a Columbus Futura carbon fork. The frame comes with protective films on the down tube and chainstays. Thru axles, cable guides, and rear axle inserts are also included.
To select the correct frame size and specific components (stem, seatpost, and saddle), you have two options. You can fill out our form, and we'll help you choose the appropriate frame size. Our recommended, more precise, approach is to visit a bike-fitting studio, which will provide you with a detailed report of all the essential parameters. During the ordering process, we'll provide you with a bike drawing that includes your selected component specifications.
We offer a selection of suggested configurations, which can be found on our website. You can also discuss your component selection with us in person, via email (info@repete.cc), or through phone/video call. We'll gladly assist you in selecting components for a unique custom build. Personalized service is important to us, and we are happy to recommend suitable components based on your preferences.
All Repete frames are crafted in our workshop right here in Prague. Every unique frame is created with great attention to detail, from the first cut of the tube, through welding and painting, and finally to the packaging of the finished frame ready for shipment. Our in-house production allows us to create products precisely according to our vision and the highest standard of quality.
You're welcome to visit our workshop, on Augustova Street, in Prague's Řepy neighborhood, where all Repete frames are crafted, and witness our production process. You can also come to our clubhouse in Moravska Street, located in the heart of Prague's Vinohrady district. We look forward to meeting you at both locations. Repete bikes are also on display at our retail partners' shops.
The geometries of our frames are defined and set; we produce frames in 6 sizes, meticulously designed for maximum efficiency, functionality, and comfort. We firmly believe that you can find your ideal fit from our size range, and further bike fitting adjustments can fine-tune the bike to perfection.
The Decode Your Individuality service allows you to personalize your bike's color to express your unique style. Through this service, you have the freedom to choose from nearly endless color options for your bike. The graphic concept of the frame remains constant, but the color choice (of the frame and logos) is up to you. Timeless and unique colors inspired by legendary cars or motorcycles are among our favorites, and an extensive RAL color palette is also available. We will be glad to discuss the translation of color to code with you in person or via info@repete.cc.
After confirming your order and paying the deposit there is a 10 week delivery lead time for your frame. Whether you choose the standard color or the Decode Your Individuality service, the lead time remains the same—10 weeks. The delivery time for a complete bike depends on your chosen components (configuration) and their availability from manufacturers and suppliers. In this case, you will be individually informed about availability and delivery time via email.
All our bikes and framesets are shipped using TNT/FedEx services. The international shipping cost is calculated after you submit your request. This is because it is different from the target delivery location. You will be informed personally via email about the shipping cost.
For EU customers, prices are shown including VAT according to the country. For EU customers there are no extra taxes and duties charged. For non-European customers prices are shown excluding VAT and other applicable taxes, fees, and customs duties. So if you are shopping from outside the EU you may have to pay them. Customs charges will be generated once your package enters your country and you are responsible for paying any customs or duty fees associated to your order.
We accept bank transfers and online credit card payments. Initially, a 50% deposit invoice is issued, and the remaining payment is due upon shipment.
Each frameset (or bike) is meticulously packaged. If we're shipping a complete bike, we take great care to ensure the bike's safety during transit and ease of assembly upon unpacking. Only the rear derailleur and front wheel are disassembled. Standard (bike) tools containing hex and Torx keys are sufficient for assembly.
We have great confidence in our frames, so all our framesets come with a 5-year warranty. This warranty does not cover scratches or other mechanical damage resulting from normal use, falls, or mishandling. All components come with a standard 2-year warranty. However, these warranties apply only to the original owner. If your frame gets scratched, we offer a paint restoration service for all customers.
