It has been almost two years since we decided to embark on the next stage for Repete to gain experience with custom-made steel bikes in the development of our new models, Reason, and Verne. During this phase, we focused on frame design, more efficient manufacturing processes, new visual design, prototype testing, and community activities. Most of this has been kept under wraps so far, as the development was underway, but it is now time to reveal a little more about what we plan to do in the coming months and what you can look forward to.

We still produce frames in Prague, but we have moved to a larger production area, which has allowed us to increase our production capacity. Thanks to the new equipment, we are able to complete several processes in one place, and thus have more control over production so we can be absolutely sure of the quality of each piece we produce. In addition, our streamlined production reduces delivery time and makes our bikes more affordable.

For our frame production, we combine modern technology with classic techniques. Keeping with the spirit of our brand, we have combined 3D printing and investment casting technology, while still utilizing conventional tube milling machines, but most of our fixtures are printed. The use of current technology has also enabled us to develop innovative new frame designs...we’ll unveil more about those soon.

In the header of our website, you may have missed the new look of our logo. The new logo is part of a complete redesign of our visual identity created by graphic designer Martin Kolerus. We will be gradually rolling it all out for you, but you can read all about the course and our principles of repeatability in the interview.

We are also launching a new website with the magazine. For a long time now, we have wanted to host the content we create in one place and to be able to say something more about the topics that inspire us. The magazine is divided into several sections so you can follow the backstage process of handmade frame production, soak up the atmosphere of our activities or take a look at some of the video reports about people connected through the cycling community.

We are going to be continuing this year's community activities. We welcome you to join one of our trips in Prague, but if you’re not in Prague you can also meet us for one of our destination trips on weekends. Follow us on Strava for more information about current and upcoming trips.

Over the coming weeks, we will be gradually unveiling the aforementioned bike frame models and the stories behind them.
